Material shortcomings
Low heat resistance: HDT is only 53 °C @ 0.455 MPa, making it unsuitable for high-temperature applications. Moderate mechanical strength: Tensile strength (28 MPa) and flexural strength (38 MPa) are relatively low compared to engineering-grade materials. Higher viscosity: At 1250 cps @ 30 °C, it is more viscous than many other SLA resins, which may require careful handling. Limited application scope: Best suited for non-structural, aesthetic, or flame-retardant parts rather than load-bearing applications.
