1204 Ball Screw mount for c-beam 2080 + dual HGR20 rails + quad/duplex HGR20 carriages
I needed something rigid and tough to connect my SFU1204 ball screws to quad-mounted HGR20 carriages. This will handle all four axis of my CNC Plasma build, and will remove any stupid connection links or hollow tubes and long screws. It protrudes between the carriages and extends exactly to the deck height of standard HGR20 carriages. Whatever plate you're bolting to the carriages simply bolts to this one - it's made with no top screw holes to allow drilling to match your plate. Probably not the most elegant solution, but it allowed me to add another chunk of steel to the gantries to (hopefully help) smooth out any stepper resolution that might be visible on small radii, and rigidifies the entire thing. Heavy enough for my CNC Plasma, sturdy enough for a diy CNC machine/router/whatever.
