2021 is an unusual year for all of us. Under the great control of the epidemic and on the premise of safety, our factory resumed production. Thanks for all the warm care and encouragement from our PCBWayers during the outbreak of COVID-19. At the same time, we collect and sent free masks for pcbwayers to express our sincere gratefulness. We always believe that we can conquer it together. Let us pay tribute to the hard-won good life. Let’s see what happened this year in PCBWay.
1.3D printing and CNC machining
In the past few years, we have received many customer requests and suggestions, like:
“Can PCBWay launch 3D printing and CNC services? In this way, it is more convenient to manufacture the shell or related components that match the PCB projects.”
In order to meet the individual needs of more and more customers, after more than a year of preparation, PCBWay officially launched high-quality and fast 3D printing and CNC services this year.
We hold the activity of Call for PCB design tutorial contest. All participant are free to produce PCB design tips, software instructions, step-by-step tutorials, or any basics needed for new learners to get their first boards being designed.
Our SMT factory and two PCB factories in Shenzhen were merged and moved to Building 32-33, Longwangmiao Industrial Park, Fuyong Street, Baoan District, Shenzhen, which is expected to be moved completely by the end of June.
Raspberry Pi Pico, the smaller but more powerful microcontroller development board was released this year. We call all makers try to build wonderful projects based on Pico.
Adjustment on VAT and Implement IOSS (IMPORT ONE-STOP SHOP) policy.
1.register IOSS VAT ID number and levy VAT for B2C customers’ orders with an intrinsic value not exceeding EUR 150 at check-out point.
2.declare and pay VAT to EU tax authorities on a monthly basis.
3. From 1 July 2021, in order to verify whether it is a B2B or B2C order, B2B customers will be required to provide the VAT number when placing an order.
4. Our IOSS paying method（DHL DDP) be available soon at the end of July.
6.PCBWay 4th PCB design contest
We lunch the PCBWay 4th PCB design contest. This year, we have mainly 2 themes of the entries: One is IoT, the other one is robotics.
